The potential of organic agriculture for coping with global warming

At least one third of global greenhouse gas emissions are related to agriculture. Dramatic implications are expected for global agriculture and food supply.  Organic agriculture has potential for preventing climate change. It can also help in adaption.

Urs Niggli, director of Fibl (Research Institute of Organic Agriculture), gave a lecture on these themes in Mikkeli, Finland 9.11.2011. The lecture is published available online by ”The knowledge network for organic farming” (LuomuTIETOverkko in Finnish).
